Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Rips Off Electric Gate With Bare Hands

Dwayne Johnson a.k.a The Rock literally took matters into his own hands when the electric gate at his house failed to work due to a power outage.

Dwayne Johnson posted on his Instagram the following text with a photo of his front gate lying on the grass after ripping the gate off from the brick wall with his bare hands.

He was scheduled to appear to shoot the scenes for his role as Black Adam in an upcoming film, and with production crew members already on site, he didn’t want to keep them waiting and arrive late.

Not my finest hour 🤦🏽‍♂️, but a man’s gotta go to work. We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out – but this time it wouldn’t. Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45min to wait. By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day. So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass. My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, “in disbelief and equally scared” as to how I ripped it off 🤣 Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work. And I’m 💯 ready to be BLACK ADAM⚡️💪🏾 #ripgate

“I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself…”

Johnson called the gate technicians only to be told that they could only arrive after 45 minutes. Not wanting to keep the hundreds of film crew members waiting, Johnson decided to be Captain America’s archenemy Black Adam on the spot and removed his front gate with his bare hands, which he then threw on the grass.

“Not my finest hour but a man’s gotta go to work…”

Technicians and welders who arrived at the “scene of the crime” an hour later were “in disbelief and equally scared” as to how a human being could rip a security gate off from the brick wall just like that.

Here is a quick teaser trailer of Black Adam to be released in 2021.

Not that he needs to, but if he had not yet auditioned for his titular role as Black Adam, this stunt would have cut it and got him the part!

Truly, nothing stands between The Rock and where he wants to be.
